Product Information

Innovators West dampeners utilize an aluminum case to cut down on the total weight as well as the flywheel weight of the dampener.  The dampener is degreed a full 360 degrees and degreed every 2 degrees from 30 to 50 degrees.  Standard hub is steel, optional hub is aluminum.  Innovators West manufactures transducer brackets for most of their crank dampeners.

Tech Info:
An 8-rib damper can be used with the stock 6-rib accessory drive and will allow a customer to upgrade to an 8-rib drive for blower applications without have to buy another dampner.

Installation of an after dampner on a 2003-2004 Cobra applications will require removal of the factory crankshaft support

A Metco adapter is available for 2003-2004 Cobra installations to allow Metco pulleys to be directly bolted onto the Innovators dampner (see parts list)

Overdrive Mod Motor dampners may require that the mounting boss for the crank trigger sensor be modified for clearance

Overdrive dampners for the Shelby GT500 and the Ford GT Supercar require the use of a Gates K100852 Supercharger belt available for a local parts store.

10% Underdrive units are approx. 6" in diameter
10% Overdrive units are approx. 7.25" in diameter
18% Overdrive units are approx 7.75" in diameter

Stock crankshaft bolt is torque to yield design and should only be used once. Innovators West offers a replacement bolt for this application, as does Ford.
